Re: Sebastien Haller
He doesnt look fit to me, seems back on his heels a lot of the time, not very quicker either. May could do with shedding 2 or 3 kilos. Good goal yesterday!

Re: Sebastien Haller
Haller had over 10 assists last season and literally made jovic play better. Chicha doesn't deserve to be compared with haller.

Re: Sebastien Haller
Reminds me of Hernandez in the sense that he is much better at finishing than anything else.

Atleast with Haller he can hold the ball up with is something Hernandez could not do.

If he ends up with 12-15 goals this season you cannot moan at that kind of return.

Re: Sebastien Haller
He's scored 6 in 19, 1 in 3.

What a crock of shit he is.

Re: Sebastien Haller
Great goal yesterday i think he is one of those players who gets goals but does not look busy just pops up and scores.

Re: Sebastien Haller
Thanks for that, B. However we established this earlier.

Re: Sebastien Haller
Unless it's on his head, his lay-off passes are fucking terrible. Always leaves them short.

Re: Sebastien Haller
V, I disagree his movement is poor, he wins the majority of the balls played up to him because he gets himself in a position to do so, however running with the ball isn't he's game as he's not very fast.

Agree about his pace, but it's clear he will score goals if you whip crosses into him which we never did under MP.

Re: Sebastien Haller
He actually ran with the ball yesterday twice which is the first time I have seen that all season, he is good technically but needs to improve a lot. His general movement and distribution is awful, let’s hope Moyes can improve him for 45 million we need him too.

Re: Sebastien Haller
That's how I read it - very similar to Zamora's celebration after scoring in the 2:3 at Highbury

Re: Sebastien Haller
His unselfish passing was one of the things that marked his early success here.

One thing that was nice about yesterday was that we were dominant but there was obviously things that could be improved on the training ground. There were still moments where we looked like we had not trained together for months and if the training sessions improve that should obviously improve.

I think his passing is one of those.

Re: Sebastien Haller
His passing is usually a lot better. It will be again.

Re: Sebastien Haller
I see plenty of potential and have often said, as have many others, that having someone like Antonio alongside will bring the best out of him.

His passing needs to be better but totally agree that as long as he finds the net regularly and we win then who cares.

Re: Sebastien Haller
I think he's still a bit lazy. Doesn't run as much as others. Doesn't chase unless it's a few inches away from him. Seems half hearted about 50/50 balls. Similar to Arnie in many ways.

Re: Sebastien Haller
I mean, other then yesterday's game, he's barely had the ball this season..

Block 2:45 Thu Jan 2
Re: Sebastien Haller
He does it consistently.

Sajmo1 2:44 Thu Jan 2
Re: Sebastien Haller
Funny thing is that he is more famous for his passing and link up play then his goalscoring ability. That's why he doesn't shoot much often - he's always looking for his teammates that are in better position. I wouldn't call his passing ability shite just because he misplaced a few passes yesterday..

Block 2:34 Thu Jan 2
Re: Sebastien Haller
His passing ability is fucking dreadful, too many times he does the hard part winning the ball bringing it down etc and then fucks it up with his distribution.

Re: Sebastien Haller
I think at times he could be more selfish and have a go at goal. Sometimes he holds it up when he could create a bit of space for himself to test the keeper.

He clearly has good technique. For me we need players around Haller with movement to drag away defenders. I want to see him in the box and us getting decent balls in early that he can attack. I will be disappointed if he doesn't manage at least 10 goals in his first season. I think he is capable of much more.
